Mr. Buttelman professional career spans more than 35 years in the financial service industry as a financial advisor. He specializes in helping his clients plan and invest for retirement.
Since 1984, Michael has worked with employees of public education, their spouses and families. He has helped clients understand the benefits of their state pension and how their pension integrates with other investments to create a plan for retirement. In 1996 Buttelman & Associates partnered as the exclusive financial and retirement advisors for Gold Coast Federal Credit Union.
He has been a guest on the NBC affiliate Channel 5 News financial program entitled “Surviving the Squeeze” and a frequent guest on the television show “Focus on South Florida” where he discussed various financial and retirement topics. He has also presented for the Florida Public Pension Trustees Association (FPPTA) educational schools across cities in Florida.
When he isn’t working, Michael enjoys golfing, spending time at the beach with his wife Aida. He has a daughter Aliett who graduated from Columbia University and launched her own business, and his son Mike who played college lacrosse at Franklin & Marshall College and working for a tech company.
